What is paid, and when
When you click an outbound link to an operator on this site and go on to register a new account with them, the operator pays a one-off referral fee to Game Parlour UK. The fee size varies by operator and is set in the affiliate contract — we do not negotiate it up or down based on whether a writer says nicer things about the brand. You do not pay anything extra. You do not get a worse welcome offer. The fee comes out of the operator’s marketing budget, in place of money they would otherwise spend on a billboard.
What this does not buy
Operators do not buy a place on the shortlist. Operators do not buy a higher score. Operators do not see this site’s comparison before it goes live. If an operator threatens to pull its affiliate relationship because of a critical line in a review, the line stays and the relationship leaves — that has happened, and it will happen again.
How we mark links
Every outbound operator link on this site is a commercial referral. They carry rel=“sponsored noopener nofollow” so search engines treat them correctly, open in a new tab, and pass a tracking parameter so the operator can credit the referral. The destination URL is always the operator’s real domain — there is no redirect chain through an unrelated site.
If you would rather not
That is fine — you can read every comparison page without ever clicking through. The operator names and URLs are typed out plainly in the comparison table so you can navigate to them directly. The site still loads. None of the editorial is gated behind a click. We just then don’t get paid for that visit, which is also fine.
